Goodbye Facebook.

Well I deleted my facebook... again! The whole reason I got a blog in the first place was because I deleted my facebook, then I got it back, and now I decided it would be for the best if I deleted it again. This post will be a little short.. but I'm still loving college, my chem class is kicking my BUTT! Other then that though, I love it! Idaho is still pretty warm!  I LOVE IT! I'm just soaking in all the warmth that I possibly can before the cold comes! Idaho is just amazing. I will try to blog more often... I always have lots to say, that's for sure! Until next time! :)

I LOVE COLLEGE:)

Well, here I am, at the end of my second week here at BYU-Idaho.. It feels like I've always been here. I love it so much. This is definitely the place that I am supposed to be. I have made some great friends, reconnected with some old friends. I make a new friend every day that I'm here. This is the greatest place in the world. I would reccomend BYU-I to anyone in the world. It's fun and spiritual. At the start of every single class, we open with a prayer! It's CRAZY! I love my classes, they will most definitely be a challenge for me. But we all need challenges in our lives right? :) I also have the best roommates that anyone could ask for. I have been so incredibly blessed to be living with these 3 girls. Penny, Lindsey and Katleyn. We all get a long so PERFECTLY. It is such a blessing. I love it here. I don't really have much more to say about it. I have a date every weekend though:) That's always fun! haha:) I will post pictures on here soon of my dorm room! I LOVE IT:) Until next time <3

Prom!

Yes, I know I graduated high school early... but, I got asked to prom! So of course I went! One of my very best guy friends, Dakotah Mankin asked me. The theme was masquerade, and I wanted to be a little different. I got a black dress that was the style of the 1920's flapper dress! And I got one of those little head thingies... I know I'm not too good at explaining it.. So here are some pictures we got taken professionally, yes I know it's crazy! But SO much fun:) These pictures were taken by the wonderful Angela Rios Deshone! It was so much fun to take pictures with him! Some of them are goofy, but we had a lot of fun! :)

Life is CRAZY!

OH man! It's been a long while since I've done anything on here.. Guess I'm just not in the blog mood yet! Oh well, I'm trying! So much is going on right now, I can barely handle it. For starters, I am graduated high school, and I am so incredibly happy to be out of there! I graduated and went to California for a month to take care of my wonderful Grandma Sarah! While there, I really grew up. It was quite the experience. My Grandpa Hise had a brain aneurism while I was there, and I spent the last week of my trip taking care of 2 grandmas! It was crazy, and I really did some serious growing up. Well, I came home to Texas in January, and it was time to get a job! I was really nervous about looking! I hate job hunting... Well, I learned that prayers do get answered. My job found me, and it's changed my life. There is a family in my home ward that has a 14 year old daughter that had cerebral palsy. And they needed someone to take care of her for 25 hours a weekend! The government gave the family 25 a week with medicare for them to hire a home nurse to take care of her, and they asked me to do it! So I went to the company and filled out all the paperwork and they ended up giving me another little girl that has MS! Well, I'll start off by telling about my Bresha.
THIS girl to the left changed my life. I worked with her every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a total of 25 hours. She was on hospice and DNR, which means do not resuscitate. So, pretty much we all knew that she was going to pass away anytime. I started watching her in January. And, at first it was really hard! I had to change her diaper, suction gunk out of her mouth, bathe her and dress her and rotate her and just a whole bunch of stuff. My Bresha went home to heaven on Friday April 30th. I knew it was coming, but oh boy, was it a shock. I cried and cried! I know with out a doubt that she is in a better place, and that she can walk, talk, run, dance, play and sing and do all of the things she couldn't do while here on earth. She changed my life, and I don't think anyone really knows how much she means to me. I love her and miss her, and can't wait to see her in heaven!

I also watch another girl, her name is Mallory, and like I said before she has MS! She is an adorable little 8 year old, and I absolutely love her to death. I pick her up from school, and pretty much just play with her the rest of the night! Last weekend I had the chance to go to Midland Texas for an MS walk with her and her family, and it was a blast! She calls me her Becca, and I just adore her.

IT has been such a blessing to work with these 2 wonderful handicapped girls! These experiences have helped me decide what I want to do with the rest of my life... I'm sure that's not hard to guess, I'm going to be a nurse! I want to either A-take care of handicapped children or B- work in the pediatric cancer center at a hospital! Call me crazy, but it's what I want to do. I'm super excited, and I can't wait to see where life takes me!

SORRY this blog post has been a little unorganized. I'm really going to try to keep up with my blog so that I don't have to write a whole novel every time I do get on!
