Goodbye Facebook.

Well I deleted my facebook... again! The whole reason I got a blog in the first place was because I deleted my facebook, then I got it back, and now I decided it would be for the best if I deleted it again. This post will be a little short.. but I'm still loving college, my chem class is kicking my BUTT! Other then that though, I love it! Idaho is still pretty warm!  I LOVE IT! I'm just soaking in all the warmth that I possibly can before the cold comes! Idaho is just amazing. I will try to blog more often... I always have lots to say, that's for sure! Until next time! :)

I LOVE COLLEGE:)

Well, here I am, at the end of my second week here at BYU-Idaho.. It feels like I've always been here. I love it so much. This is definitely the place that I am supposed to be. I have made some great friends, reconnected with some old friends. I make a new friend every day that I'm here. This is the greatest place in the world. I would reccomend BYU-I to anyone in the world. It's fun and spiritual. At the start of every single class, we open with a prayer! It's CRAZY! I love my classes, they will most definitely be a challenge for me. But we all need challenges in our lives right? :) I also have the best roommates that anyone could ask for. I have been so incredibly blessed to be living with these 3 girls. Penny, Lindsey and Katleyn. We all get a long so PERFECTLY. It is such a blessing. I love it here. I don't really have much more to say about it. I have a date every weekend though:) That's always fun! haha:) I will post pictures on here soon of my dorm room! I LOVE IT:) Until next time <3

Prom!

Yes, I know I graduated high school early... but, I got asked to prom! So of course I went! One of my very best guy friends, Dakotah Mankin asked me. The theme was masquerade, and I wanted to be a little different. I got a black dress that was the style of the 1920's flapper dress! And I got one of those little head thingies... I know I'm not too good at explaining it.. So here are some pictures we got taken professionally, yes I know it's crazy! But SO much fun:) These pictures were taken by the wonderful Angela Rios Deshone! It was so much fun to take pictures with him! Some of them are goofy, but we had a lot of fun! :)

Life is CRAZY!

OH man! It's been a long while since I've done anything on here.. Guess I'm just not in the blog mood yet! Oh well, I'm trying! So much is going on right now, I can barely handle it. For starters, I am graduated high school, and I am so incredibly happy to be out of there! I graduated and went to California for a month to take care of my wonderful Grandma Sarah! While there, I really grew up. It was quite the experience. My Grandpa Hise had a brain aneurism while I was there, and I spent the last week of my trip taking care of 2 grandmas! It was crazy, and I really did some serious growing up. Well, I came home to Texas in January, and it was time to get a job! I was really nervous about looking! I hate job hunting... Well, I learned that prayers do get answered. My job found me, and it's changed my life. There is a family in my home ward that has a 14 year old daughter that had cerebral palsy. And they needed someone to take care of her for 25 hours a weekend! The government gave the family 25 a week with medicare for them to hire a home nurse to take care of her, and they asked me to do it! So I went to the company and filled out all the paperwork and they ended up giving me another little girl that has MS! Well, I'll start off by telling about my Bresha.
THIS girl to the left changed my life. I worked with her every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a total of 25 hours. She was on hospice and DNR, which means do not resuscitate. So, pretty much we all knew that she was going to pass away anytime. I started watching her in January. And, at first it was really hard! I had to change her diaper, suction gunk out of her mouth, bathe her and dress her and rotate her and just a whole bunch of stuff. My Bresha went home to heaven on Friday April 30th. I knew it was coming, but oh boy, was it a shock. I cried and cried! I know with out a doubt that she is in a better place, and that she can walk, talk, run, dance, play and sing and do all of the things she couldn't do while here on earth. She changed my life, and I don't think anyone really knows how much she means to me. I love her and miss her, and can't wait to see her in heaven!

I also watch another girl, her name is Mallory, and like I said before she has MS! She is an adorable little 8 year old, and I absolutely love her to death. I pick her up from school, and pretty much just play with her the rest of the night! Last weekend I had the chance to go to Midland Texas for an MS walk with her and her family, and it was a blast! She calls me her Becca, and I just adore her.

IT has been such a blessing to work with these 2 wonderful handicapped girls! These experiences have helped me decide what I want to do with the rest of my life... I'm sure that's not hard to guess, I'm going to be a nurse! I want to either A-take care of handicapped children or B- work in the pediatric cancer center at a hospital! Call me crazy, but it's what I want to do. I'm super excited, and I can't wait to see where life takes me!

SORRY this blog post has been a little unorganized. I'm really going to try to keep up with my blog so that I don't have to write a whole novel every time I do get on!

Who needs a boyfriend anyway?

I was talking today with someone who I usually like to talk to when I need advice, or someone that I can always count on for a good conversation. Today's conversation wasn't much different then our other conversations except for the fact that we talked about dating a lot more then usual. Now, as most of you know I have recently graduated high school... so I feel like I am more learned then I used to be... That's probably not the case, but that's how I feel :) I also just recently broke up with the boy I had been dating for three months. Now three months doesn't seem like a very long time, but for a girl like me thats pretty long! There were a couple different factors leading up to this break up of mine. One was that I was going out of town and I was going to be gone a month... and well I didn't want to have a boyfriend while being gone that long. The second factor was having a boyfriend was just getting old. Some people think I'm crazy, because I wasn't all that heartbroken about breaking up. But as most people know.. I'm a little different then most girls. I'm not a huge Twilight fan, I'd much rather hang out with guys then girls ( thats how most girls are... but in my case the guys actually want to hang out with me as well :) ) well at least in my opinion I'm different then most girls. But anyway, I feel like I've gotten off the topic that I wanted to wrtie about in the first place. Dating in high school... there are a lot of different types of relationships, and here are just a few that I have recognized as I've gotten older. There's that typical high school relationship where all they want to do is sleep with each other. And all I have to say about that is, well its ridiculious. I have a friend in a relationship like that, and it won't suprise me when she tells me that she's having a baby, and out of all my friends that are in relationships... she is by far the most unhappy. There's also the relationship that is well what I would call a healthy relationship. I have a friend who has been dating the same guy for almost two years, with out having sex, with out doing the immature break up, get back together business, and she is probably one of the happiest friends that I have. There's also the relationship when the boy and girl like each other, but they know it's going to end, they just like each other... so they are in a relationship. That's exactly the relationship that I was just in. I knew I was graduating early, and would then move on to bigger and better things, so the relationship would eventually end. And I just had a realization today while talking to this role model of mine... Why would I date someone when I know the relationship is going to end. It just doesn't make any sense to me. I guess that's just how I am and I thought I would write about this odd realization that I had today. I'm not saying that everyone should be like me, in the fact that I'm not going to be in a relationiship with someone unless I am planning on getting married to them. That's just me :) I'm doing great just in case anyone was wondering, I'm happy and excited about life! Untill next time <3

Senior Pictures

I just recently got my senior pictures taken, and of course I want to show them off, and since I no longer have facebook this is where I'm going to show them! A lady from church took my pictures.  Her name is Kendal Jessup and she is absolutely AMAZING! Hope you enjoy :) Also I have to decide which picture to print, so if y'all have any favorites let me know which one it is :)

Just a little about ME!

Well I've never had a blog before.. But I always like reading everyone's blogs, so I figured I'd finally conform and get one of my own. I have no idea to work this, but I'll figure it out :) I guess I'll start my first blog with telling about my oh so interesting high school life!
I'm FINALLY a senior! And you all know what that means-time to start applying for college! I'm getting so stressed about applying, but I know everything will work out the way it should!
My senior year has been full of a lot of fun and little study ;) I'm the DECA president at my school. DECA is an association of marketing students. I joined DECA before I even knew what it was! I learned about it after I became president! But, I now know what DECA is, and I really enjoy it. I'm also involved in the media at my school, we do the announcements, make commercials and film football games. It's a TON of fun. I'm graduating a semester early, so in exactly 37 days I will be finished with high school. I am way excited. I'm so over high school!
Well this first post is going to be short and sweet, but there will be more to come, because I just deleted my facebook! So this is now my only way to let people know what I'm up to! :)
