This one's for my dad!

Fathers Day... Comes around once a year and everyone always says that their dad is the best.. But that can't be true because none of them have my dad!!

My dad is the hardest working man I have ever met in my entire life... And I've met quite a lot of people in my life. My dad is funny and creative and smart and can always make me laugh, especially when I'm in a really angry mood and don't even want to laugh. I remember my first semester of school I had a chemistry test that I was about to take, and the night before my dad told me that if I got an A on this test he would give me 20 bucks.. Well the next day I go to take that test and it totally kicks my butt, like I'm pretty sure I've never even failed a test that bad in my life. So me, being me.. I called my dad sobbing feeling like a total and complete failure. Well he talks to me and says something along the lines of "Becca, it's okay, I know you can do better. I'm going to send 40 dollars your way, go get some shoes or go out to eat" Woah, my dads never done anything like that! But it was so nice of him, and I definitely felt so much better afterwards :) haha but really, that just goes to show how caring my dad is. He is awesome. And I know that he loves me, he even still loves me after I wrecked his car last week. But it's okay, my dad is wonderful, and I've learned to work hard for things in life from him. I owe him a lot. I LOVE MY DAD!!!!!!

Sorry I've been MIA for a while... Work and my social life have been keeping me pretty busy. But because it was requested, not by one but TWO people that I update my blog, I figured it was time to update everyone (or Grandma and Austire) About my awesome exciting life.

Right now I am working 2 jobs. Ahh my first job is at Campus Design.... A Texas Tech clothing store. It's pretty easy, and really laid back. I love it. My second job is a waitress at the Italian restaurant here in town Orlandos. It's really yummy and I love working there.I LOVE TIPS! So between jobs and having a new boyfriend(this part is for YOU Austrie) My life has been pretty busy. So a little more about the boyfriend, nothing serious, I've actually dated him before. Random, oh well. But exciting news about him, he was baptized last week, and is now Mormon! So that's way cool, here's a picture of us from his baptism!

His name is Stephen Guajardo, and don't ask me how to say his last name. Because I won't be able to tell you. But he's pretty great! Nothing serious so don't worry (Grandma!)

Enough about me. I just want to post some pictures from the circus that Stephen and I went to! IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME! There's quite a few pictures, but I promise. They are all awesome. So enjoy!

Mothers Day

19 years, 4 months and 9 days ago I was blessed to be given to the most amazing mother in the world.

My mom is my best friend. The one person that I can ALWAYS count on. She is wonderful, smart, beautiful, funny, kind, giving, sweet, forgiving, honest, genuine woman that I have ever met. I am sooo lucky! I have been so blessed.

This girl is back in the great state of Texas. I survived finals week, and the 20 hour car ride home. And now, I am back in Texas. Can I say it again? I'M BACK IN TEXAS!! I am so happy! I never thought I'd miss the flattness, and the dust, and did I mention how flat it is here? I wore shorts and sandals today by the way. I don't think I could ever go back to Rexburg. Good thing I'm going to cosmetology school in Utah :)  Well, I just wanted to blog and say as many times as I could that I am back in Texas!!!

finals week=death

What more really needs to be said besides the title of this blog post? FINALS WEEK =DEATH. For real. Everyone on campus has the crazy stressed look on their face. Why are finals such a big deal? Yeah, I don't really know. I've discovered a few things that help me stay relatively stress free, or at least as stress free as I can be during the craziest week of the semester.

• eating lots of ice cream. (ice cream is basically a cure to any problem in my life)
• turkey, bacon, quacamole asiago bagel and a maui mango smoothie (the little shop in the downstairs of the MC knows my name, yeah, i'm a regular!)
• diet coke.
• watching movies when I should be studying, everyone needs a break once and a while. 
• getting new music, seriously, it's the best.
• watching awkward couples make out right in front of me. Okay maybe that's not one, but I just witnessed it. super awkward 
• day dreaming about how wonderful the summer is going to be
• a new haircut (ahh it's short!))
• spending time with my friends/roommates that I will miss when I go home!
• Studying actually helps relieve stress too... weird.

well there it is, this is a list of how I'm staying sane this last week, that I might add WON'T END! I need to be in Texas.. NOW!

Happy Birthday to my big brother Ben!

It's April 5th, and it's also my big brother Bens birthday! He is the big  21 today! Ben has been kind of a challenge to live with for the past... Long time. But I'm so proud of him for working hard to turn his life around. I love Benjamin so much, and I'm proud of how hard he is working on changing his life around! I can't wait to see him soon :)

Today my friend Jim took me shooting for the first time! I did so good! I'm kinda bummed though because we didn't get any pictures of us while shooting, but I do have a picture of the target! All of those shots are mine by the way! Notice how close I got to the bullseye... Don't forget, this was my FIRST time shooting. I am so legit.
