It's getting cold outside.

I know I haven't really posted about anything very exciting in a while.. Sorry about that! But here I am finally posting about what I've been up to lately!

I graduated from freshman at hair school, so I'm not out on the floor! It's super exciting. I loved the 7 weeks that I had as a freshmen, but I'm super excited about being able to have clients and work on bettering my skills as a hair stylist! Seriously, I love hair school!!

I've recently been able to hang out with my big brother Ben, and it's been so much fun! I love him :)

My new favorite thing to do is go to Applebees on Wednesday nights and play BINGO! It's so much fun, anyone can play and you don't even have to order anything to play. It's so much fun! We went with a group last week, and it was so fun! Alexa and me got bingo! It was SO exciting!

This past week at school we ran around town looking for decorations to decorate our door at school, this is me and some of my favorite TA girls shopping!

This lady at the store noticed that we were struggling because we didn't have enough money to pay for our decorations, and she so kindly gave us a 5 dollar bill! She is so sweet!!!!!

Last Saturday my ward went to Temple Square to see all the Christmas lights! It was so much fun, and so beautiful! I absolutely love Temple Square, but it's just so beautiful and amazing at Christmas time! It was amazing :)

Camie Knight.

Anyone that knows me knows that I have a best friend, and her name is Camie Knight. Camie and I have been best friends since 7th grade, and I couldn't have asked for a better friend! Camie is loyal, kind, funny, talented, beautiful, smart, and everything that I have ever needed in a friend. I am so incredibly thankful for theI friendship and the happiness that this girl has brought into my life. I would not be the person that I am today if she were not a part of my life. I can't wait to see where the rest of our lives take us, and how much our friendship will grow!

Corn Maze, Hair dying and karaoke party.

This week was pretty exciting! My ward went to a corn maze! It was super fun, and super cold! Me and my friend Alexa had lots of fun.

Next I had my first color client at school! I put a weave in my best friend Camie's hair.. It turned out great!!! I'm still loving school and excited about learning everything!!!

My school has a Halloween party every year and we karaoke!! If anyone knows me.. They know that I absolutely LOVE karaoke. It's just the most amazing fun ever! I sang everything from Spice Girls, Shania Twain, Lady Antebellum, Beyonce and many more that I can't even remember.. It was a blast though!!!

America's Next Top Model, anyone??

So for Halloween this year I have decided to be a PEACOCK! So I made a tutu, and everything was on sale, so it was seriously the cheapest costume ever.. Which is totally awesome! So anyway, one of the perks of being in hair school is having awesome friends who can do cool things with hair and makeup! So I went to this dance party on Friday night and my friend Melanie did my makeup.. Oh my heck. It was incredible!! I seriously felt like I was on America's Next Top Model!! It was so much fun!! Here are a few pictures of my awesome hair, makeup and costume!!!

Funny days.

So, today the funniest thing happened and I really felt the need to tell it to the world, or just the few of you that read my blog!!

At school we had a 15 minute break and 4 of us girls drove to the gas station and got some drinks and then I realized that I really need french fries from McDonalds.. And since it's on the way back to school from the gas station we all voted and decided it was a necessary stop! So, we pulled up to the drive through window, and I shouted over my friend Alexis who was driving, and said I want a large french fries (don't worry, I was sharing!!) So after I yelled that I wanted fries and lots of ketchup (remember that phrase) the lady goes would you like to try our caramel apple whatever they are advertising at the moment, and I was like no! I want fries! So then she was like we'll have your total at the next window, but by the time she said that we were already at the next window, because we were in such a hurry to get back! Well, I gave the guy my card and I shouted that I wanted a lot of ketchup! And he was like okay.. But one thing, your card isn't working.. And I was like what?! There's no way.. I know I have money, and then he was like just kidding! It works! Phewf right? Well then we pulled up to our final destination, a.k.a the third window and the one with my fries! Well, I was clearly elated to be getting these fries! When I saw them a huge smile came on my face and I was like I want a lot of ketchup! And the guy looked at me.. Without smiling, put a HUGE handful into my bag.. and after seeing the big smile on my face proceeded to dump the WHOLE thing of ketchup into my bag!!!! He gave me SO MUCH KETCHUP!!!! It was sooo incredibly funny! We couldn't stop laughing! And of course I didn't use all the ketchup because let's be real.. That is a lot of ketchup! So I now have a grocery bag full of Mickey D's ketchup at my apartment!!

Also, as promised here is a picture of my hair, I know it's not the best most attractive picture, but hey! It's alright!!

Notice anything different??? YES! I am pretty blonde (not that you can tell in this picture) and I HAVE LONG HAIR!!! I love love love love it! I'm never cutting my hair again! Oh and, meet my friend Alexis! We are the cool kids in school :) Anyway... I hope my funny ketchup story and long hair has made your day a little brighter! 

Withdrawls...

I have been off facebook for over a month now, and I think it's great! I can really tell the difference in my life! I'm getting A's in school! That's basically a first :) Haha but lately I've really been missing the whole facebook scene... I was with my best friend Camie last night and we were facebook creepin on these boys (typical) But to get to the point, I was like dang.. I kind of miss this. But I need to be strong! I told myself I wouldn't get facebook back until I get a boyfriend! Which by the looks of it right now.. Could be who knows how long. But it's okay because I'm really in no hurry to get a boyfriend, but I do miss facebook! Lame, right? Oh well.

Anyway, a little update on me! I am starting my 4th week of school! Yay!! I love it, still!! We took another test last Friday, and guess what?! I got 105% AGAIN!!! I think that's the second test that I've ever gotten an A on.. Haha But really, I've never done this well in school... I can't figure out if it's because I don't have facebook anymore, or because it's something that I actually enjoy. I think it's a little bit of both! Don't you? Tomorrow we are starting coloring!! AHH! I'm so excited for that! That's my little update on me and school! I promise next time I will post lots of pictures since this one is clearly lacking in that department. Y'all will be surprised at what my hair looks like ;)

I'm a genius!

So today at school we took our first test... And guess what?! I got 105% which means I got every question right, and the 2 extra credit questions! It sure feels good getting a good grade! I thought I would share with y'all my good grade because I'm super excited about it :)
